Believe it or not, I had ONE hour appointment in Dublin last Monday so I had no choice but to pack a sandwich (don't judge me, I like making my own sandwiches) and look for a bus.
Luckily I found
GOBUS.IE. Fantastic service as it turned out, you can even chat with them on line right now if you have any questions and they are fabulously helpful. So I did my research and found the right buses for departure and return and all I had left to do was show up on time and not forget my sandwich! By the way there is a toilet and Wi-Fi in there so the trip can be as painless as possible.
The beauty of it all is that there is a bus leaving from Galway to Dublin and vice versa, every hour, so it is not a problem to go just for an hour and then come back!! I should try to get myself appointments more often I suppose. It is a good opportunity to take some photos on a new turf since I am not really familiar with Dublin. And since I did not have much time to go anywhere I only managed to take a few shots along the river. So bear with me, maybe next time I will have more time to discover more of Dublin and then there will be more to share!!
For now this is all I have:
The bus stop at George's Quay.
I hope you enjoyed your walk with me in Dublin City!!
