FROM GALWAY to DUBLIN and BACK

Believe it or not, I had ONE hour appointment in Dublin last Monday so I had no choice but to pack a sandwich (don't judge me, I like making my own sandwiches) and look for a bus. 

Luckily I found GOBUS.IE. Fantastic service as it turned out, you can even chat with them on line right now if you have any questions and they are fabulously helpful. So I did my research and found the right buses for departure and return and all I had left to do was show up on time and not forget my sandwich! By the way there is a toilet and Wi-Fi in there so the trip can be as painless as possible.  

The beauty of it all is that there is a bus leaving from Galway to Dublin and vice versa, every hour, so it is not a problem to go just for an hour and then come back!! I should try to get myself appointments more often I suppose. It is a good opportunity to take some photos on a new turf since I am not really familiar with Dublin. And since I did not have much time to go anywhere I only managed to take a few shots along the river. So bear with me, maybe next time I will have more time to discover more of Dublin and then there will be more to share!!

GALWAY CITY Sunset walk on Claddagh Quay

This is one of my first posts here on this blog and I think it is due for a bit of revamping. It's the 3rd of  January 2016 and it is the perfect time for editing and reorganizing. 

My daughter always says that I am too much of a perfectionist but I simply try to do things the best I can and I do not like when something is not as good as it should be. It kind of nags at me. Since this post is the most popular on this blog I think it really needs to look a bit better. My goal is  to improve my work all the time. Hopefully I manage that..  I am also adding a few more photos for good measure. 

Enjoy my Sunset walk on Claddagh Quay, Galway city, Ireland and the view from Wolfe Tonne Bridge over the river Corrib where it meets the ocean.
